PTFE tube (polytetrafluoroethylene tube) is manufactured from a fluoropolymer that exhibits attributes not found in other plastic materials and has the lowest coefficient of friction of any plastic, allowing for unrestricted flow without deposit build-up. It also has a working temperature of 500°F (260°C).
