PTFE emulsion is a milky white liquid, which is a dispersed concentrate of polytetrafluoroethylene after polymerization in the presence of non-ionic surfactants. The solid content of polytetrafluoroethylene is about 60% (by weight). The product treated with dispersed concentrate has excellent chemical stability and resistance to chemical corrosion such as strong acids, strong alkalis, and strong oxidants, and has outstanding heat resistance, cold resistance and wear resistance. The long-term use temperature range is -200~+250℃. It also has excellent electrical insulation and is not affected by temperature and frequency.

一、The main uses of PTFE emulsion

It can be directly used to impregnate porous materials such as asbestos products, glass fibers, ceramics and electric carbon products. It can be used to prepare anti-sticking and anti-corrosion coatings, and can also be used to coat glass cloth, make laminates, and can also be used to directly spin special synthetic fibers. It is widely used in defense industry, rubber industry, electronic battery industry and other departments.

二、 Precautions for using PTFE emulsion

1. It should be stored in an environment of 10~25℃. Avoid direct sunlight. This product will freeze at 0℃, causing condensation and the product will be scrapped.

2. During storage, the product should be gently shaken every 15 days.

3. It is non-toxic at room temperature. When heating and sintering over 300℃, ventilation and anti-toxicity should be carried out to avoid high-temperature treatment above 400℃.

三、 Advantages of PTFE emulsion

1. High temperature resistance-the working temperature can reach 250℃

2. Low temperature resistance-good mechanical toughness; even if the temperature drops to -196℃, polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion can maintain an elongation of 5%.

3. Corrosion resistance-it is inert to most chemicals and solvents, resistant to strong acids and alkalis, water and various organic solvents.

4. Weather resistance-has the best aging service time among plastics.

5. High lubricity-the kind with low friction coefficient among solid materials. Non-adhesion-it is a small surface tension among solid materials and does not adhere to any substance.

6. Harmless - It is physiologically inert and can be implanted in the body as artificial blood vessels and organs for a long time without adverse reactions.

7. Electrical insulation - It can withstand high voltage of 1500 volts.
